Floor Tiles in Walnut Ikat and Latte Basketweave

Located in Nagasaki, Japan, Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch is part of the Okura Hotels and Resorts chain. The building was inspired by the architecture of the Dutch Renaissance, in particular Central Station in Amsterdam. Opened in 2012, A.N.D. (Aoyama Nomura Design) was the architecture firm responsible for the design. The restaurant space, encompassing 6,500 sq. ft., was covered with Chilewich Ikat Walnut, Basketweave Latte and Kono Asphalt floor tiles.
All Chilewich flooring is Green Label Plus™ certified by the Carpet and Rug Institute, which is recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council. Therefore, all Chilewich flooring earns LEED points. Chilewich flooring also contains Microban® to inhibit the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew, which is ideal for hospitality settings.
