The 4-star Hôtel la Monnaie is located on the west coast of France in La Rochelle, overlooking the Bay of Biscay. The 13,000 sq. ft. hotel was completed in 2011 and offers accommodation, bar and spa facilities. The building dates back to the 17th Century and still retains the original architectural details on the façade, as well as a courtyard featuring historical states.
The interior was renovated by Atelier Solo – Philippe Lucazeau to convey a modern atmosphere. Chilewich wall to wall flooring in Frost was selected for the flooring.
